About Us

Our History

We  are the Diamond Crest Service Unit (390), a Girl Scout organization  within the Girl Scouts of Northern California Council. Our name -  Diamond Crest - represents the four locations that are included in our  Service Unit: Belmont, Redwood Shores, San Carlos and parts of San  Mateo. The continual high percent of participation in our organization  can be attributed to the traditions, quality programs and dedicated  volunteers that make up Diamond Crest.

Our Membership

Diamond  Crest Girl Scouts participate in over 100 troops, and attend more than 60 schools. Each year Diamond Crest has over 1,200 registered girls and over 1,000 registered adults - making it one of the largest Service Units in Northern California!

What Makes Us Unique

Within Diamond Crest, our volunteers work hard to provide every girl a well-rounded Girl Scout experience. In addition to supporting troops at every school, our volunteers host events which bring everyone together so girls can form friendships outside their school. These events include Day Camp, overnight camping trips, ice/roller skating events, STEM fairs, and more!

In addition, we ensure our adult volunteers also feel supported through Google groups, monthly newsletters, and quarterly volunteer meetings.
