The 2023 Fall Take Action Program ended on November 12th. Girl Scouts reached out to family and friends to take orders for chocolates, nuts, and magazine subscriptions.
New online products, Tervis Tumblers and Bark Box were a hit!
Through this online program, entrepreneurs learned financial literacy and developed five leadership skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. They also learned about philanthropy by supporting this year's endangered species program mascot, the ocelot. Thank you to the adult volunteers for supporting your scouts!
GSNorCal partnered with Friends of Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge in adoption & conservation of ocelots in Texas. Participating Girl Scouts donated $45 of their rewards in support of ocelots!
CONGRATULATIONS to the participating scouts who earned for their troop, 20% of troop sales and the eight scouts who earned their own personalized patch (sold at least $450 in product and sent 18+ emails)!
Physical rewards were distributed in January 2024. Personalized patches were mailed directly to scouts address on file.
Looking forward to more participation in 2024!
