About Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts, girls will prepare for a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure in a safe, no-limits place designed for and by girls!  How?  Glad you asked!  What do Girl Scouts do and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience -  a collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities like earning badges, going on awesome trips, selling cookies, exploring science, getting outdoors, and helping the community through service projects.  Experiences are girl-led, learn by doing and cooperative learning.

Research shows that girls learn best in an all-girl, girl-led, and girl-friendly environment. Through Girl Scouts, your girl will:

  • Display positive values
  • Seek challenges and learn from setbacks
  • Form and maintain healthy relationships
  • Learn to identify and solve problems in her community
  • Have fun making new friends with other in her community
