Changes for 2020

The Fall Take Action Program, previously known as the Fall Product Program, is  an important Community Service piece of the Essential Girl Scout  Experience of leading change and making positive differences in local  communities and around the world.   Our 2020 take action program  conservation focus is the critically endangered Pygmy Three-toed Sloth.  Evaluations vary, but the most recent count estimates that there are  less than 100 in the world, due to habitat loss.

The  Fall Taken Action Program will focus on minimizing contact and is  focused on online sales (nuts, chocolates and magazines).  There is no Cupboard and so the initial order is the only product the Troop will receive for girl delivery, so you may want to build in Troop extra  product; otherwise, if the Troop wants additional product, they will  need to purchase additional product online and pay for shipping.  Whatever product the Troop orders is not returnable.

Key Dates

  • Now:  Troop Product Managers must complete the 2020-2021 Volunteer Position Description and Acceptance
